Yes, while we were waiting to make sure Pi was going to stick around before we had her fix, we discovered she was pregnant. So we now have 5 little ones. The kitty names are Radius, Diameter, Circumference, Area, and Buttercup. :-)
Today was a beautiful morning. I puttered around the yard taking a few photos. They always look more impressive in person, than in the photos. Then on my way into work I saw a red tailed hawk up close. Usually I see them perched on road signs along the highway. This one was about 8' feet from me sitting on a low branch of a pine tree on the Capitol lawn. It then flew in front of me to the ground. Each person that passed me asked if it was hurt. No, it was in pursuit of food. He was much larger than I imagined and very impressive.
Everyone have a safe and fun holiday weekend! Looks like it is going to be great weather wise.
