I know it seems early to have my Christmas knitting well underway. I also know that I should knit now. Once the holiday charity knitting starts, I don't want to try to be working on gifts. I will get overwhelmed and nothing will get done.
I know that I am 'early', but it really ticks me off that there are holiday ads on TV already! It is one thing to tell yourself that you are doing this to prepare, who wants the commercial world to try to get you to start thinking of the holidays now?

I agree...enough with shoving the holidays down our throats at this point. Oh well, it's a consumer culture that we live in. Nice work on the hats and mittens, love the jewel tones.
